Mary Elle Fanning is a young American actress known for her roles in films including 'Phoebe' in Wonderland' and 'The Demon'. Fanning was born in Conyers Georgia. Fanning is the daughter of the actor Dakota Fanning. Her acting career began at the age of just a few years. Steven Spielberg produced her first miniseries"Taken.' Fanning appeared as a younger model of the role that her sister was playing in the miniseries. As time passed she began getting role roles not involving her sister and, at the age of nine, she appeared in "Phoebe in Wonderland" in which she portrayed the main character. The film gained her a lot in acclaim and recognition for her performance. Film roles she has played include "The Door in the floor I Would Like Someone to Have Cheese' and many others. Her beautiful looks and impressive acting skills soon made her a rising young actress. The first time she was recognized for her talent, she won an award at just 13 years old! The role she played in the American drama 'Somewhere' earned her a 'Young Hollywood Award' as Actress of the Year. A couple of her most recent films include 'Sidney' Hall' and The Beguiled.
